Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity available for a Human Resources Assistant (2nd Shift) . The successful candidate will have general administrative responsibilities including but not limited to coordinating the new hire process, assisting with paperwork, filing, copying, correspondence, miscellaneous projects and other assistance as needed.
Principal Accountabilities:
Maintain confidentiality of salaried and hourly Human Resources information. Preparation, verification, and distribution of all standard and special HR reports. Coordinate New Hire Process Maintain the Background Check program. Provide HR reception area assistance and coverage. Update hourly employees’ files.
Qualifications Required: Bilingual Skills required (English/Spanish). High school diploma or equivalency required. Associate's or advanced degree preferred Advanced P.C. skills required. Must have advanced understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Approx. 1-3 years experience in a fast paced office environment. Previous Human Resources experience a plus. Demonstrated organizational skills. Effective communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to work with all levels of employees and external contacts. Ability to work flexible hours, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed, is required
