Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity available for a Human Resource Generalist with our Cargill Value Added Meats-Retail, Dayton, VA, facility.This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in Human Resources, but wants to gain business unit experience or broaden their exposure to multiple areas of human resources. Principal accountabilities include assisting location HR leadership with day-to-day HR needs and issues; champion engagement through working with assigned groups in the effective communication, action planning, and measurement of employee engagement; assist location HR with coordinating staffing needs and processes.

Qualifications B.A. degree or equivalent work experience

1+ year human resource experience Demonstrated passion for engagement and willingness to challenge the status quo and champion change. Strong customer focus and service orientation. Working knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word. Willingness to travel as needed (10%) and willing to work flexible hours. Demonstrated track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences.
