Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Production / Operations Supervisor local to the Baltimore, MD area for a Fortune 100 Manufacturing Company. Prefer candidate with at least a two year college degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience. Highly prefer someone with a maintenance background as position will be involved in both production and maintenance.
Job Description: Primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and day-to-day management of operations activities within the Plant to ensure outstanding safety, cost, quality, and manufacturing execution. 1. Act as leader to support the plant management team and other in-plant teams to assist them in improving operations in all areas of the plant; decreasing the cost through improvements and insuring that plant operations meet all applicable regulatory requirements. 2. Supervise all aspects of shift operations in either the process, packing, or warehouse departments. 3. Understand production runs and schedule adherence needs. Manage schedule adjusting and making decision based on business needs. 4. Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities through TPM methodologies. Actively engages in a leadership role with the EM and AM pillar teams. Lead TPM activity in the plant. Work with engineering, maintenance and others on project teams.
As a member of the leadership team, you will provide tactical direction of the maintenance activities and support to the plant operations. You will direct Supervision operations and shift maintenance personnel. This is a rotating shift and there will be overtime hours put in. Company does pay overtime and has an annual bonus. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Production / Operations Supervisor position MUST HAVE at least a 2-Year Degree with 2+ years of Production Supervisor / Operations Supervisory experience from within a Manufacturing Facility. At this time, ONLY candidates local to Baltimore, MD and its surrounding area(s) will be considered as there is no relocation assistance being offered.
