Job Description
Primary Accountabilities: To lead the development and implementation of all sales related system applications from a business perspective. Position would be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, integrated system to meet the needs of sales, supply chain, and CAT’s (domestically and internationally). A major portion of which would be integrating several data sources (Retail Link, Syndicated, Demographic etc…) into one platform. The ultimate objective is a seamless business planning and business reporting system that can be easily used by all functions and is flexible enough to evolve with future technologies. This position will include providing maintenance support to the current platforms/tools as well as initiating and leading a multi-functional task force to ensure organizational requirements are identified and incorporated into new tools. Position will include working with cross-functional departments (Sales, Supply Chain, CAT’s, BPT, Sales Finance, COE, etc.) as well as outside suppliers.
Required Skills: - Advanced knowledge of key systems such as Retail Link, DSS Systems, Syndicated Data, Access, and Microsoft Office. - Global business experience and perspective. - Strong Interpersonal / Communication Skills. - Account Management Experience (3-5 years). - Comprehensive understanding of the Sales Business Planning Process. - Planning & Organization - Strong ability to analyze information and develop corresponding action plans. - Ability to address multiple tasks and handle accordingly. - Ability to guide and influence decisions based on providing appropriate fact base rationale. - Ability to complete projects or tasks within assigned timeframe. - Ability to interact with multiple levels and of the organization. - Ability to learn and apply new concepts to daily activity.
