Our client, a large food-processing firm, is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage 15 technicians in one of their food manufacturing facilities.

This position is located South of Miluwakee. Relocation is covered.

About the opportunity:

The Maintenance Supervisor will provide technical and process assistance to the maintenance staff and facility in order to assure high quality product, cost effective and smooth production of products. Oversee and direct daily work routines of 15 mechanics. Manage and implement plans with regards to preventive maintenance. Minimize line shutdown. Increase machine hours and products with regards to maintenance. Address and manage Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Total Quality, and Safety issues. Communicate professionally and effectively with all other departments, plant management, and hourly employees. Assist stockroom with inventory and support procedures with issuing parts.

Position Requirements:

Must have a 4-year degree. Prefer degrees in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or Management.

Must have at least 2 years of supervisor skills managing or supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.

Highly prefer experience in a food processing facility and familiarity with Food Safety, HACCP, and Sanitation Issues.
