Software Engineer – St. Louis, MO

We are currently looking to hire Software Engineers in our St. Louis, MO office.
Education BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with SCADA, HMI, or MES applications Candidates should have some knowledge of manufacturing and/or industrial automation Familiarity with Database design or .NET programming is desired Familiarity with PLC or DCS control systems is desired. Experience with web or reporting technology is a plus. Technical writing skills and ability to generate specifications/documentation is a plus. Process and packaging experience is a plus.
Requirements/Responsibilities The position requires implementation of systems for packaging automation and process manufacturing. The successful Software Engineer will demonstrate outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to software and control systems along with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
This position is responsible for the specification, design, development, and testing of SCADA, Manufacturing Intelligence, and MES applications. Primary platforms include Wonderware, Rockwell Software, and GE Fanuc Intellution/Proficy applications. Ideal candidate will be able to work with clients to determine functional requirements, specify technology, and implement solutions leading or working within a development team.
Travel Requirements 40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings and other meetings. The vast majority of this travel will be regional.
