This position is responsible for the Supply Planning for the Dry savory business. Functional responsibilities include; inventory planning, master scheduling, capacity planning, new product manufacturing, material planning, and cross-functional project coordination. The goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of products through the Supply Chain in support of agreed forecast, customer service and working capital objectives. Execution of the planning process focus on collaborative “bottom-up” planning with GTM, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Brand Development, and R&D. This role is instrumental for the daily delivery of finished goods and requires leveraging the best technology and practices available in the market today.
Key responsibilities include: ? Manage planned production to meet customer service and working capital goals. ? Monitor and manage the age of inventory to minimize liquidations and material write offs. ? The position will require managing capacity, taking into account seasonal constraints and demand sensitivity across the planning horizon. ? Monitor and ensure the weekly plant finite schedule attainments support inventory and customer service objectives. ? Work closely with the plants, co-packers, and re-packers; serve as the liaison back to the Category Team to insure delivery of business requirements. Conduct weekly meetings and conference calls with manufacturing facilities to ensure all functional groups are communicating clearly and consistently. ? Help manage numerous projects that support growth objectives, innovation, cost reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and Strategic Sourcing initiatives. ? Utilization of planning systems availableand best practices for optimal application in Dry Savory.
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. APICS certification or MBA a plus.
Experience: 3 – 5 years of Supply Chain Planning, Supply Management,Manufacturing, Logistics and/or other Supply Chain related experiences.
