Cargill Kitchen Solutions has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Supervisor at the Mason City, IA location. This position offers an individual an excellent opportunity to lead the success of the Mason City Operations Team via management and continuous improvement of the Cargill Kitchen Solutions Mason City maintenance team. This position works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager. The person in this position will have responsibility for managing the maintenance staff and their development, as well as the development and implementation of all facility maintenance efforts and functions including preventative maintenance, redesigns, relocations, etc. Principle Accountabilities and Job Duties: Manage and schedule all maintenance duties in the maintenance, repair and construction of machinery, equipment and physical plant. Manage preventative maintenance system and activities via available tools and systems. Develop and manage maintenance budgeting process, purchasing costs and processes, including utilities, repairs, maintenance, associated with maintenance duties, etc. Recommend efforts to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality. Ensure compliance with all Governmental and Corporate Safety practices. Assure Food Safety initiatives are supported and executed within compliance. Develop employees in areas of new technology needed by Cargill Kitchen Solutions. Assure maintenance staff has necessary technical skills to meet needs of the department. Manage and maintain continuous improvement in energy use efforts. Develop and implement administrative systems to streamline and increase the effectiveness of the maintenance department.
Qualifications Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education: Bachelors Degree required Experience Required: Strong supervisory skills, food-processing/manufacturing background. 5+ years food-processing experience preferred.
