Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, TPM Maintenance
Job Description
The Company Our client is a manufacturer of food products. They are seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor for their facility located in the
East Bay area.
The Opportunity
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance of the physical plant and production equipment. This position will work to ensure the reliability of all equipment and ensure that proper safety practices are in place. This is a critical and visible position for an aggressive and experienced maintenance professional. Other responsibilities include:
Supervise the maintenance staff. Help develop core competencies through formal and on the job training. Provide performance feedback. Conduct routine plant and equipment inspections. Manage the overall preventative maintenance (PM) program. Investigate all maintenance related problems. Prioritize and schedule repair activities. Arrange emergency repairs as needed. Procure all maintenance parts and supplies. Confer with other internal departments in establishing maintenance priorities.
Requirements
5 years experience with manufacturing plant and equipment maintenance. Prior maintenance supervisory experience. Leadership and teamwork skills. Working knowledge of safety codes and other regulatory requirements. Must have experience with lock-out/tag-out safety procedures.
