Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Quality Assurance Manager for a Large Food/Beverage Manufacturing Facility located in Cumming, GA.
Responsibilities: Will supervise 12 hourly Lab/QA positions and a Sanitarian (salaried). The QA Manager will lead the efforts of the Quality Assurance Department. Duties include planning, organizing, training, coaching, compliance with various customer companies, government requirements and guidelines. There will have times when the QA Manager needs to be visible on other shifts, but the primary shift will be the B-shift (7 a.m.-3 p.m.). Responsibilities:
Train, coach, evaluate, and ensure processes are in place to produce a wholesome product, free of defects.
Lead department efforts to meet plant and corporate goals.
Identify and communicate customer requirements. Develop process control points to ensure customer requirements are met.
Be knowledgeable of various government regulations that must be complied with, i.e., OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC, etc. Work with our corporate Quality Assurance Team to meet company quality goals.
Through the use of problem solving methods, CATS, and other quality tools, identify and make process improvements.
Make sure that customer orders and samples are scheduled in a timely manner, taking into consideration production efficiencies.
Track and maintain control of department budgets to ensure plant goals are met.
Administer various company, plant or department processes in certification programs, assessment and feedback programs.
A 4-Year BS/BA Degree required, and a MS Degree is desired. The candidate must be open to future relocation. This position is offering a Nice Base Salary, Benefits, Relocation and Bonus up to 20%. Apply today to sgilinger@judge.com!
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Quality Assurance Manager position MUST HAVE a 4-Year BS/BA Degree with at least 3-5 years of previous QA/QC Management experience from within a Food/Beverage Manufacturing Facility.
