Job Description
Project Engineer - Conveyor Equipment Design #230-MH423
Our client has been in business for 5 decades, as a family-owned business, manufacturing a full-line of grain handling equipment including farm and commercial grain bins and portable dryers with sales throughout the world.
We are seeking an Engineer to design and develop Material Handling Equipment including drag-en masse conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, distribution conveyor and other general belt conveyor systems. Position located at Northeast Iowa manufacturing facility.
Job Requirements:
Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor Degree or similar technical degree is preferred. Experience with machine design, project management and systems integration. Component Design and specificiation. Experience in the materail handling industry is required. Must be able to use Solidworks CAD program. Capable of working in a group environment and must possess problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented and good communication skills, sound trouble-shooting techniques and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and development of material handling systems. Project management Internal Team interface and Customer Interface Occasional Travel required. OTHER:
