Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician

This position reports to the Industrial Services Team Leader. Performs the maintenance of industrial services equipment under minimal supervision in the assigned areas. This position will encompass areas dealing with water chemistry, steam generation, various pumps, spiral freezers, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, and dryers. An Industrial Services Mechanic must convey a basic aptitude of troubleshooting. Basic computer skills will be necessary in troubleshooting as well as entering daily data. Works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and layouts. Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment that is facility related. There are three levels of Industrial Services Mechanic: Skilled, Multi-Skilled, and Technician.
