Job Description
This Fortune 100 consumer packaged goods company competes in one of the highest profile and most vibrant categories in the industry. They own a large portfolio of category leading brands including some of the most well known brands in the world.
The National Account Manager is responsible for managing the headquarters call on a national chain in the mass merchandiser channel. The position is responsible for providing category and strategic leadership to the customer. The candidate must be able to identify specific customer opportunities and address them with specific brand, package, and promotion plans.
The candidate must have the ability to interact with and influence senior level key decision makers. Strong analytical, fact-based selling, and team leadership skills are required. Experience selling to key decision makers at a chain store headquarters level in the consumer packaged goods industry is required. An understanding of the mass merchandiser channel is preferred.
