Job Description
This position is in charge of the following: conduct basic research, and new product research and development of foods. Study methods to improve quality of food such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, convenience, physical, chemical and microbiological composition of foods. Develop new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production, quality control, packaging, and distribution. Develop food standards, safety and sanitary regulations, waste management and water supply specifications. Test new products in test kitchen and develop specific processing methods in laboratory pilot plant. Confer with engineers, flavor experts, and packaging and marketing specialist to resolve problems.
