Job Description
Duties: 1.Drives external technical evaluation efforts that increase innovation, quality and profitable for the company. 2.Maintains understanding of the competition, the marketplace and our distribution channels to provide value added to projects and ultimately the business on a global basis. 3.Provides insight and recommendations to the business on best technical path forward to ensure a competitive advantage on new product investments (patent vs. trade secret, etc.). 4.Contributes to development and helps drive the long-term goals of the department. 5.Continuously assesses potentially available technology. Design and lead screening of new bioactive materials and make recommendations as to efficacy, technical feasibility and dosage. 6.Provides highly expert and experienced judgment in the area of product and process development. 7.Communicates, both written and orally, critical information in a timely and accurate fashion to all levels of organizations both internal and external. Documents work appropriately.
