Job Description
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: City of Industry, CA
Description: The individual selected for this position would supervise the production operation within the guidelines established by plant and corporate policy in a safe, efficient and quality manner.
Essential functions of this position include: providing leadership and supervision for assigned production team through effectively training, motivating and communicating with team members to ensure that team performance meets or exceeds goals and expectations in the areas of productivity, quality, labor relations, safety, sanitation and cost savings.
Requirements: Skill requirements include a Bachelors Degree in Management, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The applicant must have strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop personnel and strategically plan for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate must also have demonstrated knowledge of accepted manufacturing practices, quality assurance procedures/guidelines, proactive safety awareness/compliance and strong cost control skills. Strong oral and written communications skills, planning and problem solving skills, leadership and team development skills are a must.
The selected candidate must be able to work any shift and daily and weekend overtime.
