Job Description
Our client is a growing Fortune 500 company with several production facilities in Wisconsin. Their Fond du Lac plant (160 people) needs a Packaging Manager who will lead the packaging and shipping groups. The key to this job is a proven track record of staff development. This is a great company and a great city to raise a family.
Requirements: 1. The Company is open on academics but does require at least 5 years of experience in supervision and staff development. 2. Union experience would be helpful 3. Must come from a food processing company where packaging is done. (Actual packaging experience is not required) 4. Prior experience with scheduling, budgeting, safety, quality and sanitation is helpful.
Duties: 1. Lead, train and mentor 2 supervisors on first and second shift and a team of 4 shipping people on a day to day basis. 2. Adhere to union contract 3. Responsible for department budget, quality, safety. Address relevant sanitation issues
