Job Description
Our client, an international giant in the fast growing food ingredient industry, is again growing and now seeking a Senior Applications Scientist as an addition to staff:
Job Responsibility - Accountable to Applications Manager for all applications formulations development and production of bench top and pilot deadline basis. - Lead applications initiatives to meet customer’s needs as per project briefs, manage activities and communicate both internally and externally to ensure maximum opportunity to win. - Compliance with Food Safety and Policies - Develop Demos and present concepts and marketing materials to customers - Work with Customers at their facility and at production start ups as needed - Develop a thorough knowledge of core customer’s strategies, brands, products, etc…in order to bring new ideas to the client and effectively participate in the Selling team.
Profile - Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related field is required - 6-9 Years of experience in a food or beverage applications lab required - Must be fluent in English language – both written and verbal - Must be able to travel as required (25%) - Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. - The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Must possess the ability and/or passion to discriminate through taste and smell.
