Job Description
Our client, an international giant in the flavor and food ingredient industry, is again growing and now seeking a Senior Flavorist as an addition to staff:
Job Responsibility - Accountable for creating finished flavors using basic natural and/or synthetic flavor raw materials in response to customer requests and market trends. - Direct customer contact and interaction relative to project activity and product demonstrations. - Provide training for both internal and external needs. - Regional travel to provide creative support to Customers. - Provide technical guidance to junior level Flavorists. - Evaluates raw materials using organoleptic evaluation and recommend addition to flavor raw material lists. - Create flavors that are manufacture friendly and cost effective.
Profile - Bachelor Degree in Chemistry preferred. Degree in Food Science or equivalent acceptable. - Minimum of 10 years in creating winning flavors - Market success required - Must be able to travel as required (5%) - Must have a track record for working effectively in a team environment - Fluent in English. Second language a plus - The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - The ability to use computer programs to assist in Creative Development and show an understanding of Microsoft Office skills.
You must have a Green Card or Permanent Visa Status in the USA.
