JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the research team, the Sr. Scientist is responsible for leading and supporting teams to execute new products, line extensions, and productivity/quality improvements. They will also be a key leader on the teams they support and be expected to work from ideation through commercialization. Responsibilities include leading technical development activities, from bench top to pilot plant to plan formulation scale up participating on cross functional teams, (Marketing, operations, logistics, etc.) as well as problems solving /ideation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Food Science/Food Engineering
• 5 - 8 yrs. experience in Product Development
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Comfortable working in a matrix environment
• Strong project management skills required
• Commercialization experience preferred
• 25% travel required
