Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Maintenance Manager for an established Food Manufacturing Company located in Michigan. Currently seeking someone who will ensure all processes and programs are in place and working to maintain good equipment reliability. Qualified candidate will develop long range plans for capital spending including replacements, upgrades, cost savings initiatives, and budget preparation. The Maintenance Manager will ensure that the Maintenance Department supports the needs of production, distribution, and sanitation, and keeps all production equipment in proper working condition. The qualified individual will make sure plant equipment and processes are in compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA, environmental, health, emissions, and Global Business Standards as well as direct, review and audit the preventative maintenance programs for assigned production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation with a minimum of cost and downtime. Candidate must provide overall project management for all initiatives, train and develop employee skills, adhere to operating budget and perform basic engineering functions in installation and cost reduction areas. Candidate will be responsible for the management of small parts inventory and will provide leadership and support for continuing process improvement. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Maintenance Manager position MUST HAVE a Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related experience AND a minimum of 5 years food or beverage manufacturing experience is required. Only those with food or beverage manufacturing experience will be considered. Candidate must have experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and environmental processes as well as possess broad electrical/mechanical knowledge (including PLC's). Must have the ability to analyze electro-mechanical devices, troubleshoot failures and implement repairs. Must have broad base knowledge of electric motors, belt, chain and gear drives, hydraulic, pneumatic and HVAC systems.
