Job Description
General Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage entire restaurant operation.

QUALIFICATIONS: (

3 years experience in a la carte restaurant management experience required (Asian concept preferred) High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred

At least 21 years old

Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook

Fluent in any of the Asian languages a plus LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: ABC Card CARES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for constantly monitoring service levels on the dining room floor and adjusting staffing as needed Responsible for Food Line Check - to constantly ensure that all ticket times meet Beau Rivage established standards Completes paperwork, daily reports, menu analysis, cost analysis, monthly Profit & Loss statements and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant Ensure guest satisfaction by touching every table Order product and supplies on the computer Responsible for daily pre-shift meetings, as well as, conducting regular staff training meetings Manage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling, etc. Train all employees on steps of service and sequences of service and holds them accountable to the standards Must be able to perform all subordinate functions including Asst. Restaurant Manager, Hostess, Food Server, Bus Person and Cashier (See related job descriptions) Ensure daily operational tasks are performed & completed Ensure equipment is in working order Ensure all areas of the restaurant are constantly maintained for cleanliness Practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure all food safety standards are followed * Communicates via e-mail in a professional manner and follows all computer use guidelines * Ensures necessary tools are provided to staff as needed * Ensures adequate staffing levels are maintained and controls budgeted labor costs * Ensures all departmental & company policies are followed * Achieves all Service, Financial and Human Resource goals set forth by the Vice President of F & B

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed inside in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes Work in close spaces with others Stand/walk on tile/mats Moderate noise levels Subject to second hand smoke and food odors
