Job Description
Out client, a Consumer Goods manufacturing company, is currently looking for an Inventory Planning Analyst for their plant in the southeast. The company is located around the Atlanta, GA area, and they are looking for local candidates only at this point. The Inventory Planning Analyst will be responsible for the following:

- Creates and maintains sales forecast using financial sales budget, sales history and planned promotions as guidelines.

- Runs monthly Collaborative Forecast meeting (attendees include, Brand President, VP Product Mgmt, and Director of Purchasing / Product Development).

- Analyzes supply vs. demand, and creates Purchase Order Requisitions for all finished goods and components based on sales forecast and approved inventory plans.

- Analyzes Live Shopping Demand.

- Signs off on inventory to be allocated to live shopping initiatives.

- Approves live shopping Bills of Materials before PO's are finalized and kits are packed.

- Manages obsolete/slow moving inventory reporting and opportunities for movement/reduction of that inventory

- Provides suggestions for live shopping kits and for clearance lists

- Creates Destruction Authorization Requests (DAV's).

- Manages company store at franchise conferences.

- Reports backorders at weekly Operations meetings and provides timelines for resolution along with recommendations for solutions.

- Completes various exception analyses as requested by brand management and also as recognized as needed by the analyst and/or department management.

- Recognizes and reports inventory accuracy issues and follows up until resolved.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree - 3-5 Years Experience - 3-5 Years in Sales Forecasting experience - Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills - Initiative & Follow-up
