Professionals needed for:

SR Design Engineer Research & Development

Experience / Expertise with:

• Overall design and implementation of innovative process equipment and methods, in support of strategic technology platform development projects.
• Coordinates launch of revised products and maintains version control of engineering documents.
• Develop and introduce innovative new approaches to meet emerging machine performance requirements.
• Experience with writing, reviewing, and working with patents, equipment specifications, and performance testing criteria.
• Design, document, manage, and fabricate prototypes.
• Perform design verifications and validation steps to prove out design.
• Participate in Design Review sessions with suppliers, customers and stakeholders.
• Recommends design tools to improve design efficiency and productivity.
• Performs other duties as assigned, Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years work experience with engineering principles, food processing equipment, automation, materials handling equipment or related machine design.
• Experience using 3D CAD modeling system / SolidWorks, AutoCad 3D, AutoDesk Inventor.
• Experience using simulation software.

Mechanical Designer Product Support

Experience / Expertise with:

• Generate part, assembly and layout designs and drawings using 2D and 3D CAD systems.
• Generate parts lists, engineering orders, bills of materials and other documentation needed to manufacture and operate company product lines.
• Provides technical expertise for in-plant assembly projects, field installation and start-ups.
• Assist the Service department in rectifying problems related to the operation of company equipment in the field.
• Write technical documentation and service manuals as required.
• Understand and apply standard manufacturing practices and geometric tolerances.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering with at least 3 years work experience with engineering principles.
• Experience using 3D CAD modeling system / SolidWorks, AutoCad 3D, AutoDesk Inventor.
• Experience using simulation software.
