Job Description
My client, a major food and beverage producer worldwide, is seeking a
Maintenance Engineer Manager for their facility, located near Lexington, KY.
This position will provide engineering professional and technical support to the operation/manufacturing functions to maintain the company’s assets, reduce unplanned downtime and continuously improve operational performance.
Responsibilities · Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime. · Liaise with Production, Quality, and Engineering on a daily basis to resolve technical and/or operational issues. · Ensure the implementation of the company Maintenance Strategy. · Facilitate the Consequence Driven Maintenance approach by supporting and coordinating the CDM teams and their studies. · Ensure the implementation of Asset Maintenance Management as Factory Maintenance System. · Manage the implementation of Maintenance Best Practices. · Ensure the technical integrity and availability of equipment complies with Company and regulatory requirements. · Optimize Predictive Maintenance technologies ( Condition Monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned downtime. Qualifications · BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering · Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical field in a food manufacturing facility. · In-depth knowledge of food processing Equipment Maintenance and Technology. · Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering.
