Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, LLC (UFPC) manages the supply chain for all corporate- and most franchise-owned A&W, KFC, Long John Silver's, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurant outlets in the United States. UFPC negotiates volume purchases of equipment, food, packaging, and other supplies from manufacturers and suppliers for purchase by operators and distributors who supply operators.

UFPC is currently seeking a Director, International Procurement. This new and exciting opportunity is based in Dallas, TX. The position will ultimately be responsible for the sourcing/procurement of imported food and paper items into the USA as purchased by UFPC.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Developing a short and long range International supply and support plan for the organization.
• Establishing a basis for how UFPC works with and supports Yum! Restaurants International (YRI) and YUM! China.
• Identify opportunities where UFPC can add value to its members through Importation/Global Sourcing and provide periodic reporting of activities to the Board.
• Developing the link to YRI Markets and YUM! China supply team coordinating all communications and act as the 'problem solver' to deliver issue resolution to ensure on time delivery of shipments.
• Financial review of fees collected for international services to ensure proper collection and reporting.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors Degree, MBA is preferred.
• 7 - 10 years experience in foodservice purchasing. Some International experience is preferred.
• Import/Export knowledge.
• Flexibility for both Domestic and International travel
