Job Description
Our client, a highly successful and international giant in the flavor and fragrance industry is again growing and now seeking a Flavorist for the Sweet Goods Division:
Flavorist, Sweet Goods
Responsibilities: - Accountable to Flavor Creation Management for creating finished flavors using basic natural and/or synthetic flavor raw materials in response to customer requests and market trends - Evaluate new raw materials and assists QC in organoleptic evaluation of manufactured flavor products - May provide guidance/coaching to Junior Flavorists - This is typically an individual contributor but may supervise some employees - May have direct customer contact - Expertise in Sweet Goods category
Profile: - Bachelor degree in food technology, food science or chemistry - 8 to 10 years experience![]()
, with 5 years of independent work, in creating winning flavors - Market success is required - Completion of Flavorist Training Program - Membership in the Society of Flavor Chemists is preferred
