Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Negotiate terms and conditions for direct and indirect product and services. Establish sourcing and pricing levels to maintain a competitive cost environment while ensuring continued quality and service. Build and maintain positive supplier relationships. Secure pricing, contractual agreements, and uninterrupted supply chain delivery for key product and services. Assist in the establishment of departmental goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have either chemical or food & beverage purchasing/buying experience. • Must have experience negotiating pricing on critical direct and indirect materials. • Must have experience managing contracts, including pricing, terms and conditions, service levels, and delivery with suppliers. • Must be able to establish and maintain supplier scorecards and performance indicators. • Must have experience assisting with supplier audits. Also, investigating and conducting root cause analysis for quality non-conformances.
REEQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred. • Must have experience in chemical or food & beverage purchasing, buying, or procurement. • CPM or CPIM is strongly desired. • 4 years experience with general procurement activities. • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills **Excellent Benefits and Relocation Package available
