The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Maintenance Manager for a Fortune 500 Food/Beverage Manufacturing Facility located in Chattanooga, TN.

Role: Leads the planning and implementation of specialized practices for manufacturing processes.

Job Summary: Supervises activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation to ensure continuous production operations. Participates in development of preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering department. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.

Position Responsibilities: Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained. · Monitor safety. · Train, motivate, and monitor performance and skill levels of employees. · Control maintenance expenses. · Design cost effective programs. · Maintain a working relationship with USDA. · Maintain a balance between company policies and labor agreement. · Assure personnel are trained and adhere to safe work practices. · Identify and implement corrective action on work hazards. · Assure and enforce safety hazards and compliance.

Position Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering · 5+ years Maintenance Management experience within a Manufacturing Facility · Knowledge of production line maintenance, mechanical principles, and experience in management.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Maintenance Manager position MUST HAVE a 4-Year BS Degree within an Engineering Discipline with at least 3-5 years of previous Maintenance Management experience from within a Manufacturing Facility. Candidates must have experience dealing with High Speed Manufacturing processes. At this time, ONLY candidates with an Engineering Degree will be considered.
