General Summary: We have an opportunity within our manufacturing facility in Abilene, KS. This opportunity will comprise of working in the area of Quality Control.
The Technician will be challenged with monitoring the candy making process. Will conduct sanitation surveillance and allergen inspections. In addition, will receive raw materials. Other duties include insuring all standard operational procedures are in compliance with various tasks assigned.
Key Skills:
The ability to interact with all levels of management and production personnel.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed to meet required timelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Will maintain accurate and complete records
Ability to complete testing and/or projects in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Quality Control operations, food safety and HACCP is a plus.
Excellent math aptitude.
Proficiency in Excel and Word required.
