Job Description
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Supply Manager in its Supply Chain group. The company develops ingredients found in consumer products worldwide.
Position Overview:
This individual will have overall accountability for Supply Management through management of scheduling and production planning in North American facilities. They will ensure effective and timely planning, efficient scheduling, service requirements and inventory goals. This position will also be expected to manage the NPG North America supply such that customer satisfaction, manufacturing capability, and working capital are all maximized. In addition, this individual will be involved with driving ‘best in class’ planning and scheduling for the NPG Business. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with multiple groups such as inventory management, demand management, manufacturing and customer service.
Competencies & Requirements:
** Food & Beverage or Chemical industry experience is a MUST • Bachelor’s degree or Masters preferred in a business related field • Minimum 10 years successful track record in the areas of planning and scheduling • Working knowledge and extensive understanding of MRP for planning and control • Work experience in manufacturing or supply chain is desirable • Demonstrated ability to influence groups and motivate to achieve a common goal • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion • Ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity • Strong data gathering and analytical skills using SAP, MS Excel and other software is required
