Job Description
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Planning / Demand Manager.
Position Overview: - Work cross functionally with other departments to develop forecasting and demand processes - Implement performance metrics - This person must have experience working with hundreds of SKU's and should come from one of the following industries: food and beverage, ingredient, chemical, or pharmaceutical - The position is located at the company's Divisional HQ's, so their is significant visibility. The position is open due to promotion. - Four direct reports (planners/coordinator and a materials manager)
Requirements: - MUST have BS Degree - MUST have APICS Certification (or close to completion) - MUST have industry experience in food, pharma, chemical, or ingredient manufacturing - MUST have worked with 1000+ SKU's - MUST have previous management experience - MUST have working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean
