Job Description
Our Client, a Major Food Processing company in the mid-west is looking for a Project Engineer in their Midwest Plant.
The qualified individual will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of Engineering Department to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally and through subordinates. Participates in completion of annual planning process.
The Project Engineer must be have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. He/She must also respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline; mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering preferred, plus five to eight years of related experience in the FOOD Industry; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Capital project management experience is REQUIRED.
