Job Description
Responsible for monitoring the quality of product during manufacture, auditing, and as needed, inspecting process control points as defined by the Division Quality Assurance Minimum Inspection Requirements (MIR). Responsible for skills development of Production personnel in general audit requirements, recipe procedures, GMP's, bacteriological controls, sanitation/equipment inspection, PQC, QMS, SPC, SSOP and HACCP techniques to assure effective controls are in place during manufacture. Includes liaison with USDA QCI to manage daily regulatory activities.
