Job Description
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of several or all of the following HR programs: recruiting and retention, salary administration, benefits administration, training, employee and labor relations, safety and personnel research; supporting the plant AAP/EEO; interpreting and enforcing Company policies, guidelines and procedures; assuming additional projects or responsibilities as assigned and supervisor of Employee Service Representatives.

Skill/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management or related field, with practical experience in an HR generalist capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional requirements: - Strong planning and organization skills. - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. - Understanding of and be able to apply the programs, laws, rules and regulations relating to the HR function. - Self-motivated and self-directed. - Demonstrated ability to organize and carry out numerous projects in simultaneous fashion - Communicate well orally and in writing - Gain acceptance and understanding at all organizational levels - Handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner - Learn and assimilate a variety of information quickly and accurately - Successfully negotiate and influence others to resolve disputes Must have strong computer skills, with experience in JDE highly desirable.

Bilingual applicants preferred. Flexibility to work any days and shifts as necessary to support at 24/7 operation.

HR Admin I- requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management or related field, with 2 years practical experience in an HR generalist capacity and able to respond to issues independently such as: Disability leave and pay, return to work programs, disciplinary action, exit interviews, service award programs, straightforward employee relations issues, EEO reports, AAP, Utilization plans, Vet 100 reports, workers comp reports, OSHA reports, DOT record keeping, EEO 1 reports, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HR Admin II - requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management or related field, with 3-4 years practical experience in an HR generalist capacity and is capable of handling all of the items listed in level I independently as well as Complex employee relations issues, terminations, wrongful discharge, education and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HR Admin III - requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management or related field, with 5+ years practical experience in an HR generalist capacity and is capable of responding to and handling all the issues listed in I and II as well as transfers, promotions and demotions and complex employee relations issues, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
