Related Experience 3 years Overview Joplin Plant Maintenance Manager. This role is responsible for all aspects of production maintenance, utilities, building maintenance, and parts storeroom for the Plant. Joplin is part of the BOTG division with 27MM projected volume for F'09. Accountabilities General Accountabilities *Responsible for managing maintenance labor and parts budget and developing annual maintenance budget *Developing and implementing long range maintenance strategy for high speed, high volume production processes and supporting equipment and facilities *Accountable for storeroom management and ensuring storeroom and maintenance procedures adhere to GMI financial policy. *Providing people and technical leadership Required Skills/Experiences Specific skills needed are listed under individual competencies below. future years *Champion Why Why and Autonomous Maintenance *Translate vision into executable strategy with high team involvement Technical Skills *Experience and Expertise w/ Predictive Maintenance techniques and concepts (ultrasound, vibration, oil analysis, thermal scanning, etc.) *Experience and Expertise w/ Preventative Maintenance techniques and concepts *Experience and expertise in lubrication principles *Fluent in use of Maintenance Management Systems (preferably Maximo) *Able to review Maintenance Management Systems data and data from manufacturing systems to interpret results and build action plans *Fluent in planned maintenance activities and able to build a program from scratch *Familiar with storeroom management principles including inventory controls, receiving, and kitting *Prefer someone w/ experience in food industry and with experience w/ bulk material handling systems *Familiar w/ mechanical, electrical, and controls systems including: *480V Electric Motors, Bearings, Gearbox, Drive Components (chain and belt drives), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems *120V control circuits, servo drives, 480V VFD, transmitters and sensors *PLC Controls systems consisting of Allen Bradley PLC 5, Allen Bradley C-Logix, Allen Bradley SLC Processor, and WonderWare
