Job Description
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS • BS/BA Degree in a computer related field or Equivalent work experience. • 2 year minimum IT experience, 1 year as a Systems Engineer • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server • Experience with Microsoft Exchange • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server • Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and maintain data center including network components, databases, operating systems, email, print and application servers • Ability to model networks and systems • Familiar with systems security best practices • Ability to plan and execute testing of systems and components • Proficient in best practices related to system backup, recovery, and change management • Familiar with data modeling techniques and best practices • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Valid drivers license and insurable. • Travel required 20%
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) • Ability to implement and support Cisco routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
