We can be successful only if we satisfy each component of this three-part mission. JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in our St. Albans, VT plant. Overall responsibility for daily management of Maintenance Technicians, Coordinators and support personnel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide day to day management of the maintenance technicians, coordinators and support personnel. • Direct responsibility for spare parts management, • Resolve equipment malfunctions by evaluating performance breakdowns, identifying the root cause, safely repairing the equipment, and taking actions to prevent recurring failures. • Lead the HazMat team and ensure that all team members meet regulatory standards. • Ensure that all maintenance employees complete required safety training for the year. Adhere to the published training schedule or train ahead of time. • Support capital projects as they are identified throughout the year. Obtain multiple bids from qualified contractors to ensure capital spending is optimized in each project. • Ensure department compliance with GMPs and safety policies. • Work with manufacturing and production teams to identify areas of concern and improvement opportunities (control & operational). • All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function. • BS in Engineering, and 3 years supervisory experience or AAS in an Engineering/ Maintenance field and 7 years supervisory experience. • Excellent troubleshooting ability • Knowledge of regulatory codes sufficient to ensure compliance with industry and company standards. • Basic project management skills sufficient to effectively work cross-functionally with other departments to adhere to timelines. • Willingness to work on the manufacturing floor. • MP2 and AUTOCAD experience would be a plus. • Must be flexible to work any shift (2nd or 3rd Shift)
