DIRECT SALES REPRESENTATIVE/SALES DRIVER/DELIVERY SERVICES
Reynaldo’s Mexican Food Company is a growing manufacturer/distributor of quality Hispanic foods, headquartered in City of Vernon with branch locations throughout the Southwest.
Reynaldo’s is seeking an experienced DSD Representative. The DSD Representative will be responsible for providing service to supermarkets and small chains with assigned accounts. Orders product to be delivered within 24 hours. Responsible for ongoing rotation and stocking of product on the shelves and displays, in coolers, and store's backroom. Builds displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Has frequent interaction with store management.
Position summary: The primarily function of this position is customer service and sales growth of our direct store delivery accounts. DSR’s will work with store managers to stock, order and help merchandise our products and canvass their territories for new customers. The DSR will be responsible for invoicing customers and submitting sales reports on a daily basis. The Drive truck, with a capacity of under 26,000 GVW, or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sell company goods, and pick up and deliver such items. Take orders and collect payments. May require use of HandHelds automatic routing, invoicing, or location software. Load and unload truck at Company Distribution Center and customer locations.
Job Functions: • Service existing store accounts with refilling and merchandising products, as well as assisting store managers on merchandising the products and adding more products; including: - understand each customers needs and address services we can provide to grow our mutual business - generate invoices and collect payment as required - understand product issues and communicate issues to management and solutions back to customer - arrange merchandise and sales promotion displays, or issue sales promotion materials to customers
• Canvass existing territory for new customers and opening customer accounts.
This position has the following requirements:
- Develop all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service - Take inventory and place orders for future Reynaldo’s Delivery - Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution within the area boundaries - Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and sell sufficient product inventory - Maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelving and rotate product - Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers - Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales - Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 18 years or older - Pass the background check - Valid driver's license - Proof of insurance - MVR Background check - No more than one moving violation in the past 12 months.
