Job Description
A Fortune 500 company in the Food/Beverage Industry is looking for a Research & Development Scout This position will be responsible for investigating and collecting emerging ingredient,product, package and process technology information. Assessing potential food/beverage applications, facilitating the sourcing/acquision of IP, and building a network of external information. This position will be part of a team to deliver innovative solutions. This position will lead the assessment of transformational technologies. Works directly with suppliers, universities, etc. Facilitates communication among M&A, Marketing, and R&D. The scout is part of a team driven to identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions. Requirements: 5-10 years CPG Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Engineering, Packaging Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Experience in Dairy or Soy a plus Strong understanding of new process development Experienced product/process/package development
