US market leader seeking a promotable Sr. Quality Assurance Manager for their state-of-the-art facilitys in the USA. Successful candidate will be responsible for all Quality & Sanitation activities for a 15+ plants, co-packers, & vendors manufacturing food products.
BS Science or Engineering degree required with 5+ years Total Quality Management experience in the food & beverage industry. Requires strong skills in Lean, CI, SPC, TQM, HACCP programs, GMPs, etc., along with FDA and other regulatory compliance issues. Will lead QA Dept. & Sanitation with emphasis on Lean practices, continuous improvement projects, improvement of process capabilities & cost savings initiatives. Responsible for GMPs, SPC, TQM, HACCP, ISO-9000 programs, process quality, trend analysis & root cause problem solving, etc.
