Our client, a large food processor located 45 miles North of Atlanta, is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA Team.

About the opportunity:

The QA Supervisor will lead 13 QA Team Members and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. Around 30% of your time will be spent in a production environment; 30% with administrative and office work, and 40% in the QA Lab. Lead the day to day activities of the QA Lab, Verify that Food Safety programs related to quality and regulation are met, act as point person in absence of QA Manager. The position reports to the QA Manager.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma. Highly prefer a college degree with a science major, biology or chemistry.

5 years of QA experience in the food processing – manufacturing industry.

Must have the 3-5 years of experience supervising personal.

Strong people skills with the ability to lead, motivate, build teams.

In depth knowledge with HACCP, FDA, labeling law and Kosher requirements.

Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, Excel, Access, Word, etc.

Strong proofreading, filing, oral and written communication or organizational skills.
