Job Description
A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Food Scientist to lead in development of new product formulations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare nutritional inforamtion and ingredient declarations Assist in preparation of package labels. Provide directions to Pilot plants Work with cros-functional teams in development of new formulations Facilitate product development by working with vendors Lead pilot plant testing of experimental formulations Lead plant trial testing Evaluate new suppliers/ingredients Conduct shelf life testing for new product formulations REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience in Dairy Experience working with food service vendors is a strong plus Customer interface BA in Food Science or related field 6+ years in Food Science or Food Manufacturing role Proficient in experienmental design and food sensory evaluation techniques
