We are currently seeking a Project Manager with Food/Snack Food Industry experience for our Dallas, TX office.
Education B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
Experience Minimum 5-7 years of project engineering or management experience with food processing, packaging, automation, or manufacturing applications. Strong experience in the food/snack food industry is required.
Requirements/Responsibilities Responsibilities include all aspects of client relationship development and project execution including proposal development and presentation, management of project resources, project budgets and forecasting, schedule management, project engineering, equipment specification and layout, integration, installation, start-up and project closure. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships, specifically within the food industry, is a key responsibility.
Requires excellent engineering and project skills including concept development, computer skills, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient with project documentation. Contractor management skills are also a plus.
Travel Requirements 40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings and other meetings. The vast majority of this travel will be regional.
