Job Description
Position Description:

You will be directly involved in maintaining and operating the equipment and processes we use in our slaughtering facility. You will have the opportunity to make a contribution in helping Johnsonville become the "Best Company in the World."

You get to:
? Perform preventive maintenance on/and maintain various production equipment
? Perform maintenance of utility equipment
? Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on various production and utility equipment
? Work on Projects (i.e.: machining, fabrication and working with Outside Vendors)
? Assist with new equipment installation and/or equipment relocation
? Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Watertown, OSHA and U.S.D.A. standards
? Work with our highly skilled team of mechanics

Qualifications:

What You Bring To The Job:
? Two years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred (welding, machining, metal fabrication skills specific to stainless steel a plus);
? Basic Electrical experience/understanding required, willingness to learn is essential.
? Ability to understand parts/inventory system for production and utility equipment.
? Experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning and steam generation (boiler), considered a plus, although not required.
? Candidate to posses unending commitment to Personal and Professional Development thru technical/experiential training efforts.
? Must be willing to share skills to help others develop and possess excellent communication skills.
? Member must be highly motivated, willingness to provide/share ideas and solutions, and possess a high level of expectations
? Willingness to learn and support Maintenance, Product Quality, Safety and OPE initiatives.
