Senior Project Engineer – St. Louis, Missouri
In response to our continued growth of our core business, we are actively seeking experienced Project Engineers for the St. Louis area
Education BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or technical degree and equivalent work experience.
Experience Seven (7) or more years of related experience with beverage, food and/or household products packaging and process equipment is required. High-speed packaging systems experience is a plus. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is also required.
Requirements/Responsibilities Responsibilities include accountability to lead the in-house development of system proposals and support project execution including, vendor/contractor management, system layout engineering, equipment procurement, schedule management and project finances. This position in our Central Engineering group requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple projects. Candidates need to possess above average communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Maintaining and growing solid client and vendor relationships is a key responsibility.
Requires excellent engineering and project management skills, including knowledge of machinery applications, computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD), and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient at converting information into project documentation, managing integration of packaging automation lines, and working within a project team environment.
Travel Requirements 10-20% travel required.
Relocation We are seeking candidates local to our St. Louis office. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
