Job Description
FORTUNE 500 COMPANY LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY IS LOOKING FOR A Senior Process Engineer/Manager POSITION IS LOCATED IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA – Near Manteca Area RELOCATION - Available SALARY – 100-120K
This position provides technical leadership in process design technology. Position contributes to the attainment of business objectives through the application of advanced specialized technical knowledge. Serves as a technical mentor and resource to colleagues and management. Is considered an expert in a functional category. Position would lead large, very complex technical initiatives and/or cost reduction projects. Minimal of 10-15 years experience Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Lead technical support for designing processes for new products. Plan, research, organize, and implement project work. Lead projects from concept to completion. Interact and communicate with team members from various functions i.e., Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, Engineering, Co-Pack and Legal. Solve technical hurdles and issues as they relate to processing. Communicate project status and findings to Senior management. Act and is recognized as an expert in the field. Lead and direct process technology innovation. Identify and implement opportunities to drive business growth via new and improved process technologies. Leverage vendor base as a resource network for new opportunities for business growth. Remain current in understanding new technologies and products that could be used for current and new business opportunities. Build collaborative relationships with current and new vendor base. Other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications BS required (MS or PHD preferred) in Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years consumer products company or other relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in package technology.
