Job Description
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual skills preferred.
SUMMARY: Assist the Recruiting Manager in coordinating the search and recruitment activities for current and expansion of organizational staffing needs. Assist Recruiting Manager in establishing and assimilating the members of the company within the surrounding communities, and globally. Recruiting Duties and Responsibilities • Assist in coordinating the search and review of team members and professional candidates locally and globally, as directed. • Coordinate targeted community contacts to maintain good communication and interpersonal relations with various departments, personnel, corporate contacts, local plant and business people in the community. • Represent the company at local or non-local job fairs, must be able to present information regarding employment opportunity with the company to individuals, groups of potential candidates, businesses and organizations. • Must be able to provide suggested strategies for review and approval in regards to recruitment of personnel in local and non-local areas. • Must become familiar with production practices and processes, and authorized staffing requirements for the company’s facilities and support departments, and know the status of open positions. • Source and conduct interviews with candidates, and summarize for HR Supervisors and hiring managers. Must have good people assessment skills. • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. • Must be able to work flexible hours, to include evenings and weekends. Some overnight travel required.
