POSITION: Process Engineer
LOCATION: Reserve, Louisiana - 45Miles outside of Baton Rouge and 45 Minutes outside of New Orleans.
SALARY: 70-85K
DEGREE: Required
EXPERIENCE: 7+

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge
" Degree in Chemical Engineering
" Extensive knowledge of the processing .
" Minimum 5 years experience in industrial process management.
" Experience with general food safety programs such as HACCP
" Knowledge of applicable federal regulations affecting the processing industries.
" Knowledge of Environmental Compliance issues as they relate to departmental issues
" Knowledge of distributed control systems for industrial processing plants.
PURPOSE: Ensures effective operation of process systems in assigned area of the plant. Responsible to provide consistent operations (SOP, training, etc.) between staff in a given area. Serves as mentor to plant engineering team and operations shift team. Manages process improvement / enhancement / optimization projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Monitors and manages all technical and business issues within given areas of the operation.
" Improvement champion for production, quality, cost, maintenance, safety, and environmental problems.
" Develops and implements solutions to ensure effective plant operation.
" Leads and manages assigned technicians to complete assigned tasks, projects and responsibilities.
" Serves as technical and management resource to the Shift Team Leader for training and development needs of the team.
" Serves as mentor for production staff.
" Completes Area Manager Responsibilities on temporary basis when needed.
