Education
B.S . in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical degree.
Experience
Requires 3+ years of related packaging automation experience with PLC’s and control system design.
Requirements/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include control system design, control panel design, PLC and HMI programming, and site start-up support of automation systems for the Food, Beverage, and Consumer Products industries.
The position requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in electrical design, programming and troubleshooting of automation systems. Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Industrial Communication Networks, and control panel design is also required. Experience with PanelView HMIs, FactoryTalk View, Intellution iFix, Wonderware InTouch is a plus.
Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
Travel Requirements
40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities. The majority of this travel will be regional.
